It’s a very good place to start.
If you didn’t sing that last line, you need to watch this video. Go ahead, I’ll wait…..
That makes me tear up every time I see it. The Sound of Music, by the way, has absolutely nothing to do with this site which also has absolutely nothing to do with a collection of people dancing in Antwerp’s Central Station. I just happened to a) love that video and b) have a small role in a production of the musical as a ballet student. Thus, the second I wrote the title of this post, the music began to play on endless repeat inside my head.
I was a goatherder, if you must know. It was a very challenging part.
(When you read, you begin with A B C
When you sing, you begin with…..)
Still with me? It’s rather hard to concentrate with Julie Andrews on in the background, isn’t it? I’ll try harder.
(ahem)
If you are new to this site, then you might want to start by reading the first post by clicking here:
(Doe, a deer, a female deer…)
Then, if you like, you can read a few of the top posts by choosing from the list on the right hand side of this page (that’s it, the one that says “Top Posts”). And that’s it for the introductory tour. Now that you know your way around, I hope you come back often, comment at will while you’re here, hit those share buttons at the bottom of the posts, and bring as many friends as you like.
Cheers,
Joanne
